Flewellyn Baptist Church, we love your children and want to provide them with the best and safest environment we can give.  Our goal is to teach of God’s love for them and partner with parents in encouraging a Christ-like behavior.  We make sure kids feel welcome and have fun as well.  Our teachers and volunteers are committed to presenting the Gospel to your children using age-appropriate curriculum and games.
FBC knows how important your child’s safety is to you.  That is why we have taken the necessary precautions to protect your children.  All of our children’s ministry volunteers have completed background checks and are always willing to talk to parents about the specific needs of your children.

Join us this Sunday with you little ones and experience what God is doing at FBC!

At Flewellyn Baptist Church, we understand how essential a strong foundation of faith in Jesus Christ is. Babies and toddlers can begin building that foundation with the help of parents and teachers at church. We strive to provide a loving and safe environment for your little ones to grow and learn about the Bible.

When You Arrive

A faithful volunteer will greet you and walk you through our safety procedures.  We require that each child have a detailed form on file that contains emergency contact information, allergies, and any other condition we may need to know about.  Once this form is completed, a name tag with your child’s name will be given to you.  A matching nametag will be placed on your child.  This nametag is required to pick up your child from the nursery.  No older children will be allowed to pick up a child from the nursery.

Please remember to:

  • Label everything your child brings
  • Relay special instructions (naptimes, feeding times, potty training instructions) to nursery volunteer
  • Bring plenty of diapers, bottles, and extra clothing for your child

Because we want to maintain a healthy and safe place for your children, we encourage parents to keep sick children at home. If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms, please allow them to heal at home:

  • Greenish, thick runny nose
  • Fever during the past 24 hours
  • Any discharge from the eyes
  • Rash
  • Sneezing or coughing
  • Cold or sore throat
  • Contagious illness
  • Vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours
